Selma Bennis is a highly experienced professional with a 14-year track record in building Entrepreneurship Ecosystems, investment, mentorship, and training of startups and SMEs.
As the Director of Economic Impulsion at the Regional Investment Center of Casablanca-Settat, she plays a vital role in the economic development of the region through strategic planning and territorial promotion.
Selma has a diverse background that includes working with organizations like OCP Group, where she helped build and implement programs to support the Moroccan Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
Her journey in Entrepreneurship started with financial due diligence at Grant Thornton Paris, followed by roles in the insurance and investment sectors at SAHAM Assurance.
Selma also participated in a US Department of State exchange program, mentoring American entrepreneurs and securing support for 'MATYN,' an NGO promoting economic empowerment for women.
With two Master's degrees and fluency in three languages, Selma has collaborated with multinational companies, startups, governments, and NGOs across various sectors.
