Sela Kooter

Sela Kooter is an International Policy Advisor at the Dutch Media Authority (Commissariaat voor de Media).24 She focuses on international policy matters and European regulations in her role.14 Kooter holds an LL.M. in Information & Intellectual Property Law.

At the Commissariaat voor de Media, Kooter works on research and advisory tasks.3 Her work often involves learning from other European regulatory authorities and dealing with European legislation.1 She is particularly interested in public debate and its role in media and communication.3

Kooter is also involved in professional organizations, serving as a board member for the Vereniging voor Media- en Communicatierecht (VMC), an association for media and communication law.2 She has participated in international media regulation events, such as the 58th meeting of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA) in Bucharest.5
