Seham Afaghani

Seham Afaghani is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background. She studied Permaculture Design at the Regenerative Design Institute and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Mills College.

With a keen interest in analytical chemistry, Seham has held various roles at Amyris, including Senior Associate Scientist in Process Analytical Chemistry, Fermentation Manager, and Senior Associate Scientist specializing in Chromatography. Before her time at Amyris, she worked as a Research and Development Technician at Biosearch Technologies.
