Sebastien Paquet: Scientist Turned Social Tech Expert and Entrepreneur

Sebastien Paquet is a former scientist who has become an expert in social technology and entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. from the Université de Montréal and a B.Sc. from the University of Montreal. Sebastien's professional background includes being a professor, researcher, and entrepreneur who has dedicated his career to building a wide network in the social tech field.

Sebastien's expertise lies in several areas, including machine learning, computer graphics, VR/AR, social media, weblogs, wikis, knowledge sharing, collaboration, culture tech, and eLearning. He has played a wide range of roles in this line of work, including evangelist, explainer/popularizer, user advocate, connector, event organizer, and expert.

Sebastien is known for his ability to solve difficult problems that involve programming. He is also a skilled communicator, successfully explaining complex concepts in a clear, concise manner. In addition, he is well versed in collaboration and team dynamics, what he calls "social process/collaboration expert."

Currently, Sebastien is working as the Applied Research Chapter Lead at ServiceNow. He continues to experiment with social tech tools to improve individual and collective intelligence, and he is dedicated to spreading awareness of these technologies to as many people as possible.
