Sébastien Jodogne is a renowned figure in the field of medical imaging, known for being the author of Orthanc, a lightweight, free, and open-source DICOM server aimed at enhancing medical imaging workflows within and across hospitals.
With a strong background in free and open-source software, Sébastien Jodogne's expertise spans across various domains such as medical imaging, software engineering, computer vision, image processing, machine learning, data science, Internet of Things (IoT), and GNU/Linux.
He completed his education with a Mathematics and Latin degree from Collège Saint-Hadelin de Visé, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Liège.
Currently, he serves as the owner of Orthanc Labs SRL, showcasing his entrepreneurial skills. Previously, he held key positions such as Co-Founder and CSO at Osimis and also contributed to academia as a Chargé de cours adjoint and Collaborateur scientifique at the Université de Liège (ULg).
