    Sebastian Rhodes Stampa is a highly experienced professional who currently holds the position of Chief of the Emergency Response Section at the United Nations OCHA in Switzerland.

    With a background in disaster management and a Master's Degree from the University of Leicester, he has been actively involved in various humanitarian response operations across the globe.

    Prior to his current role, Sebastian served in different capacities within the United Nations system, including being the Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator for responses to natural disasters in Mozambique, Haiti, and the Philippines.

    His extensive experience includes leading rapid response teams for UNDAC missions in countries such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Myanmar, and the Philippines, among others.

    Sebastian's career also saw him working as the OCHA Middle East Desk Officer in New York and as a liaison officer in Iraq, showcasing his diverse skill set and global operational experience.

    Before joining OCHA, he worked with the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in Kosovo and is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
