Clean haircare brand Pomélo+Co. was incubated in 2019 and scaled to €70M in lifetime revenue with DTC distribution in DACH, France and Italy, as well as in over 2,500 retail doors across those markets, including Galleries Lafayette, La Rinascente, Müller and Rossmann drug stores. In the US, the brand was introduced to beauty shoppers via the IPSY platform.

In 2023, SHYNE, a DTC hair coloring brand, was added to the portfolio.

As part of Hellofresh’s US Growth Team, I formed and led the customer retention team, with the goal of driving incremental customer profitability across Hellofresh’s US brand portfolio (GreenChef, EveryPlate, HelloFresh). 

With this broad assignment, my team developed and used CX- and functional KPIs to drive company-wide, cross-functional projects and A/B tests.

Projects span various topics like payments CX- and infrastructure, CRM, customer care, menu performance and personalization, logistics, market segmentation, NPS sentiment analysis and tests in our digital products. To that end, my team works closely with PO’s in HelloTech in Berlin, Germany on experiment hypothesis’, business cases, test setups and analysis.

Some teams go on to co-found their startups after graduation.

StyleFactory is a 2-sided marketplace that democratizes furniture design by crowdsourcing popular furniture ideas and manufacturing in limited quantities to bring new ideas to market fast and affordably.

One month after launch, StyleFactory ranked organically on page 1 in Google for 'designer furniture', 'modern furniture' and 'contemporary furniture'. The popular StyleFactory blog quickly rose to 50,000 monthly visits, highlighting innovative design, as well as giving indie designers a platform to collect feedback about their designs and a real shot at manufacturing them.
