Sebastian Loewensteijn is a lead Sustainability and ESG adviser specializing in setting ambitious impact targets for investments, supporting the transition to a regenerative planet. He collaborates across various industries like agriculture, waste management, infrastructure, technology, and government bodies to facilitate activities that accelerate the transition using technologies such as blockchain, IoT, AI, and building automation. Sebastian is dedicated to managing ESG reporting requirements for CEFC while also prioritizing investments that positively impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. With an educational background in BDes Interior Architecture from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Science, Architecture (Advanced Environmental & Energy Studies) from the University of East London, Sebastian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as an Associate Director of Sustainability at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, having previously served as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at WSP in Australia & New Zealand and as an Architectural Technician at Chris Prebble Architects.
