He has held top positions such as CEO and President of Music Allies and Creative Allies, Producer and Managing Partner at The Hangout Music Festival, and VP of Programming at AEG Presents. O'Connell has also worked at Rykodisc, Righteous Babe Records, ETC Music, and Songlines where he played roles in promotions, marketing, and business development.
