Sean Maye

Sean Maye is a skilled attorney licensed with the Colorado Bar and the Florida Bar, currently serving as the CEO and founder of the Maye Law Group, specializing in criminal law, family law, contract and insurance disputes, probate, and civil litigation.

Prior to establishing his own firm, Sean gained valuable experience as a Senior Deputy Public Defender with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, achieving a 100% trial success rate in representing indigent clients facing major felony charges.

Sean also worked as a civil litigation associate at Isriel Ponzoli P.A. in Miami, FL, focusing on first-party property insurance disputes, defense of usury claims for a global financing corporation, DUI and white-collar criminal defense, as well as family law.

His legal career commenced as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, handling numerous trials and conducting over 150 depositions, resulting in numerous favorable outcomes for his clients.

Education-wise, Sean graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree, where he received numerous academic honors and served in leadership roles in various organizations.

Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Psychology and Sociology from Middlebury College and completed his High School Diploma at Ransom Everglades School.
