Sean Kelly

Sean Kelly is a seasoned professional with 28 years of experience in investment banking, specializing in M&A transactions, equity and debt financing. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fortitude Advisors, where he has focused on leading middle market companies for the past 24 years.

Prior to starting Fortitude, Sean served as the President and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Cappello Group, playing a pivotal role in building the firm's technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking practice. He successfully closed significant deals, including the largest M&A transaction in the firm's history, the sale of Smart Start, Inc. to Abry Partners.

Sean Kelly started his investment banking career at DMG Technology Group, Deutsche Bank, advising clients in the semiconductor, software, and telecommunications industries. With a strong background in finance, he later joined Alex. Brown & Sons, focusing on financial institutions such as commercial banks and real estate investment trusts.

Mr. Kelly's diverse experience also includes roles at Phillips Associates and PondelWilkinson before transitioning to serve in the U.S. Army, following a family tradition. He currently acts as a senior advisor to Arma Partners, offering strategic guidance to tech-focused firms like Waterfall and serving on the board of directors of MMGY Global, a digital marketing company.

With a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Southern California, Sean Kelly has a solid educational foundation. He is a registered representative of Finalis Securities LLC, showcasing his commitment to upholding professional standards and ethics in his industry.
