Sean Flinn

Sean Flinn is the Vice President and Co-Head of the M&A Practice at BFL Canada, specializing in providing transaction risk insurance solutions for various client types nationwide.

His expertise lies in representations and warranty insurance, tax liability management, and handling contingent liability risks for private equity, pension funds, family offices, and corporate strategic clients.

Before joining BFL Canada, Sean gained over 7 years of experience in corporate and commercial banking at Scotiabank.

Sean is actively involved in the business community through volunteering. He serves on the Membership Committee of ACG Toronto and on the Investment Committee of Rise Asset Development.

Education wise, Sean pursued Honours in Finance at St. Francis Xavier University and completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Management at Wilfrid Laurier University.

His previous roles include Director of National Accounts, Associate Director in the Technology, Media, and Telecom division, and various positions at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets.

Additionally, Sean has experience as a Junior Consultant at Gemdax, Assistant to the President at St. Francis Xavier University, a Professional Hockey Player, and a Head Coach at Herentals Hockey Club.

He also interned at CI Investments Inc. during his career development.
