Sean Davis is an individual with a diverse background in capital markets, corporate governance, and behavioral finance. He made the transition from corporate life to academia in 2003, drawing from his experiences in high tech and financial services for his teaching and research.
His teaching interests encompass Investments, International Finance, and Financial Markets, while his research focuses on areas like Mergers & Acquisitions, Growth Options, and International Finance.
Sean Davis holds an MBA from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, a BA from Vassar College, and a PhD in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.
He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of North Florida. Previously, he held roles as an Instructor and PhD candidate at Florida Atlantic University, as well as VP positions at TradeStation Securities and Window on WallStreet, Inc.
