His roles in these companies have allowed him to develop enduring relationships with many prominent names in the industry, including Oscar-winning directors Lee Daniels, Sofia Coppola, Boaz Yakin, and Tomas Alfredson. Achievements
In 2019, Sean achieved a remarkable milestone by selling and executive producing the digital series and podcast "All The Smoke" for Showtime networks. The show, featuring NBA legends Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, became an instant success, amassing over 75 million downloads and winning the title of iHeart Media’s best sports podcast.
In addition to his success in digital media, Sean co-produced the romantic drama "THE AVAILABLE WIFE," which starred KJ Smith and was directed by his client Jamal Hill. This project was sold to RLJ and AMC’s UMC, further demonstrating Sean's versatility and talent in producing both cinematic and digital content.
In 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Sean showcased his resilience by selling and executive producing his first South African horror series, "DEAD PLACES." This show was acquired by AMC+, Sundance Now, UMC, Netflix Africa, and Studio Canal+, and it premiered in July 2021. Sean’s ability to identify compelling stories that resonate with audiences across various platforms has undoubtedly set him apart in the industry. Currently, he and his team have four projects in collaboration with Macro Television Studio, further amplifying his influence and reach.
Education and Achievements
Sean's academic journey laid a solid foundation for his successful career in media and entertainment. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television from Hofstra University in 2007. This program allowed him to hone his skills in storytelling, production, and the technical aspects of filmmaking. In 2015, he further expanded his expertise by earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Media Studies from The New School in New York City. This rigorous program equipped him with advanced knowledge of media theory, communication strategies, and the critical analysis of media practices.
In addition to his film and television studies, Sean also pursued education in the field of law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
