Scott Stanzel is a highly experienced communications professional with a diverse background spanning various industries and roles. A Bachelor of Arts graduate, he majored in Journalism/Public Relations and minored in Political Science from Iowa State University. Over the years, Scott has held several high-ranking positions, starting as Field Representative at Dole for President and working his way up to Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary at the White House. His role at The White House earned him accolades as the Deputy National Press Secretary, where he generated content for various media outlets and briefed the press on evolving policy issues and presidential activities. Following his service at The White House, Scott has worked for several top companies and organizations, such as Microsoft as a Senior Product Manager, Amazon as Director of Corporate Communications, and currently as the Managing Vice President, Corporate Communications at Capital One. He also founded Stanzel Communications, where he applied his vast expertise in developing communication strategies, crisis management, and media training for executives. Scott's active and diverse background, including participating in various Iron Man races, has shaped him into a strategic communicator with exceptional leadership skills.
