Scott Sobel

Scott Philip Sobel is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in technology, business development, and investment.

As the Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Valor Capital Group, LLC, Scott has been instrumental in bridging the U.S., Latin American, and global technology markets since the firm's inception in 2011.

Prior to his role at Valor Capital Group, Scott Sobel held key positions at renowned companies including NCR Corporation, Symbol Technologies (acquired by Motorola), and Net2Phone, Inc.

During his tenure at NCR Corporation, Scott served as the Vice President of Emerging Markets and Vice President of Business Development & Government Affairs in the Asia Pacific Region, showcasing his expertise in international business.

At Symbol Technologies, Scott Sobel excelled as the Director of Business Development, focusing on mobile computing and wireless technologies, before the acquisition by Motorola.

With a strong educational background, Scott Sobel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University, further complementing his practical experience in the tech industry.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Scott is actively involved with the National Board of the National Mentoring Partnership, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring and advocacy in the United States.
