Scott Nissenbaum

Scott Nissenbaum is a seasoned entrepreneur who has made a great impact in the Philadelphia region by driving innovation and entrepreneurship in various companies he has been a part of. He studied finance at Penn State University and also gained an MBA, Finance at Saint Joseph's University. He has worked in various roles; as a venture capitalist for 11 years, serving as the founder and president of a venture-backed startup, and managing director of a BDC. He currently leads a team of investment professionals as the President and CEO of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania. His knowledge in technology, life sciences, healthcare, and physical sciences has contributed immensely to the investee companies. Additionally, he has held several board positions and is also an adjunct faculty lecturer. Overall, he has been passionate about building great companies.
