Scott Meden is a prominent figure in the retail industry, known for his exceptional leadership skills and diverse experience in retail, finance, and marketing. He kickstarted his impressive career journey at Nordstrom in 1985, starting in the shoe department at the Bellevue Rack.
Over the span of 30 years at Nordstrom, Scott held various pivotal roles such as Buyer, Regional Merchandiser Manager, Business Planning and Analysis Director, and Divisional Merchandising Manager, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the industry.
In 2006, Scott's contributions were recognized as he was appointed as the President of Rack, where he oversaw a significant expansion in store count, taking it from 50 to 89 stores. His exceptional performance led him to be named EVP/General Merchandise Manager of Shoes in 2010, and later in 2016, he assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer, demonstrating his adeptness in different facets of the business.
Outside his professional commitments, Scott is actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors, serving on the Board of Directors for several notable organizations including United Way of King County, Shoes That Fit, Washington State University's Advisory Board, Chapman University Board of Governors, the Alzheimer's Association of Washington, and the Seattle Colleges Foundation.
