Scott Malfitano

Scott Malfitano is a prominent figure in Delaware's workforce development and business community. He currently serves as the Chair of the State of Delaware Workforce Development Board, a position he has held since July 2021.2 Malfitano is also the Vice President at CSC (Corporation Service Company), where he has been working since November 1999.2
Malfitano has a long history of involvement in various organizations and initiatives aimed at improving Delaware's economic landscape. He was a board member and former Chair of the Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation, where he served for 21 years.2 Notably, he founded the Reinventing Delaware initiative, which brings together leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members to generate ideas for job creation, economic growth, and improving quality of life in Delaware.14
In addition to his professional roles, Malfitano has been involved in numerous volunteer and mentorship positions. He was a founder and former Chair of Intern Delaware, a volunteer for Franklin & Marshall College's Professional Development Program, and a mentor/coach for Multiplying Good - Jefferson Awards for Public Service/Students in Action.2
Malfitano's career history includes positions such as Account Manager at Friess Associates, General Manager at CSC, and Personal Assistant to Governor Pete du Pont during his presidential campaign.2 His educational background includes a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Political Science from St. Joseph's University.2
As the Chair of the Delaware Workforce Development Board, Malfitano is actively involved in addressing workforce challenges in the state.
