Scott Kirshner

Scott Kirshner, M.Ed., INCI, COSCI, is the President and Lead Instructor of Dedicated Threat Solutions, LLC.12 He is an accomplished trainer with decades of experience in safety and violence mitigation strategies.2 Kirshner has held various positions in the criminal justice system, including Parole Administrator, Supervisory Probation Officer, and Correctional Officer.1

As an officer survival instructor, Kirshner has developed and implemented safety curricula for large agencies.2 He is certified in multiple areas, serving as a Certified Firearms Instructor, Lead Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Use of Force Instructor.1 Kirshner has facilitated classes on topics such as Use of Force, Tactical Mindset, Verbal De-escalation, Crisis Prevention, and Surviving Violent Encounters.2

Achievements and Contributions

Kirshner has received the Excellence in Training Award twice from the Arizona Supreme Court.1 He is the author of several books on safety and officer survival, including "Officer Survival for Code Enforcement Officers".13 As an International Liaison Officer for the South West, USA for the National Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Association (NLEFIA), Kirshner continues to contribute to the field of law enforcement training.2
