Scott Hofer

Scott Hofer is a seasoned Assistant Director with several years of experience in the hospitality industry. His expertise in Catering, Sales, and Management has made him a valuable member of various organizations, including the Hyatt Regency Portland and Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside. Earlier, he also worked at Hertz Local Edition and Canby High School. Scott has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Social Sciences from Portland State University, and an Associate's degree in Social Sciences from Clackamas Community College.

Scott's experience started with administrative roles, after which he went on to become a Legal Chief at the United States Marine Corps. As Assistant Football Coach at Canby High School, he developed his leadership skills and gained valuable experience in managing teams. Later, he shifted gears and explored the exciting world of hospitality, starting as an Administrative Assistant at Hyatt Regency Bellevue before assuming a range of bespoke roles, including Assistant Executive Steward, Outlets Manager, and Assistant Director of Guest Experience.

Scott's strong business development skills are evident in his ability to create a positive experience for guests, ensuring they enjoy their stay and return in the future. His exceptional management, communication and leadership skills, as well as his knowledge of MICROS, have helped him succeed in various roles.
