Scott Haluck is a data scientist with a strong passion for utilizing data to drive positive changes at the crossroads of data, education, and justice. With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University, Scott has equipped himself with a diverse skill set to tackle complex problems. He further honed his expertise by completing Data Scientist and Data Analyst Nanodegrees at Udacity.
Throughout Scott's career, he has held various roles that have contributed to his multifaceted professional journey. Currently, he serves as a Data Scientist at TeraCrunch, where he is engaged in projects centered around simplifying complex data sets to extract valuable insights accessible to a wide audience. Scott aspires to leverage his data analysis skills to assess and advocate for sustainable and impactful changes.
Prior to his current position, Scott held the position of Computer Science Director and Math Teacher at Bishop Miege High School, demonstrating his dedication to both education and technology. He also has teaching experience at Cristo Rey Kansas City, Notre Dame High School, and St. Ignatius College Preparatory, where he served in various teaching roles. Additionally, Scott's career includes a stint as the CEO of Hackaway and as an Assistant Director of Community Service at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. His early professional experience as a Hardware Design Engineer at Boeing Satellite Systems has provided him with a solid foundation in engineering.
