Scott Goering

Scott Goering is a Vice President at Battery Ventures, where he oversees the global Corporate Development team, focusing on early-stage companies and entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

Before joining Battery, Scott accumulated over a decade of experience in various technology roles, including engineering, marketing, management, and business development.

Battery Ventures, founded in 1983, invests globally in cutting-edge businesses across software, cloud infrastructure, consumer Internet, mobile, and industrial technologies at stages from seed to private equity.

Scott Goering holds a Master's degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University.

Apart from his current role, Scott has also served as a Founder - Community Manager at Craft by Battery Ventures and held various positions at Intel Corporation, including Media Segment Director, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Field Application Engineer, CPU / Performance Architect, and System-on-Chip Verification Business Unit QA Intern.
