Scott Gimpel is an accomplished professional who has worked in a variety of positions throughout his career. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University where he pursued an MSIA and at The Johns Hopkins University where he obtained a degree in Mathematical Sciences. Gimpel has worked as a Cofounder and Partner at Webbs Hill Advisors, where he serves a global community of Non-Agency & Agency RMBS investors. He has worked with Hedge Funds, Money Managers, Insurance Companies, REITS, Private Equity, and Broker/Dealers. Webbs Hill is known for its unique analytics and great software that help investors extract opportunities from data. Gimpel and his team work tirelessly to dig deep into the loan level data to provide their clients with amazing value that they will not find elsewhere.

Before working at Webbs Hill Advisors, Gimpel worked as the Managing Director, Head of RMBS Non-Agency Strategy, and Big Data Analytics at RBS. Here he served a leading role in the Asset Backed Finance department. Gimpel also worked as a Programmer on IBM PC-AT Development Team at IBM and at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
