Scott Dunlap

Scott Dunlap is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in digital product development and innovation. He currently holds multiple positions at adidas, including VP, Mobile and General Manager/CEO of Runtastic GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of adidas.1

Dunlap joined adidas in May 2019 as the General Manager of Runtastic, based in Vienna, Austria. In this role, he leads a team of 160+ employees, focusing on creating innovative digital experiences for athletes and active individuals.1 In November 2019, he also assumed the position of VP, Mobile at adidas, where he leads a global team responsible for digital strategy, design, and development of mobile app experiences, connected sports, gaming, and digital retail experiences.1

Prior to joining adidas, Dunlap held leadership positions at various technology companies, including:

• Chief Product Officer at Brilliant (2016-2018)
• Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at PAX Labs, Inc. (2015)
• VP of Innovation/Emerging Opportunities at PayPal (2011-2012)
• CEO & Founder of NearbyNow (2006-2011)

Dunlap holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Business, Music, and Economics from the University of Oregon.1

In addition to his professional achievements, Dunlap is an accomplished athlete. He holds a Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon wearing lederhosen (3:04:06) and is a 10-time National USATF Age Group and Masters Running Champion in various distances.1
