Scott Basten

Scott Basten is a highly experienced Director of Video Services and Video Manager at Frost Productions, NYC, with a robust background in the entertainment industry spanning over a decade.

His expertise covers a wide range of fields including high-end live events, fashion, international product launches, Off-Broadway, concert, film, and television productions.

With a keen eye for both creativity and technical aspects, Scott excels in taking projects from the initial vision through concept, design, to flawless execution.

His skill set includes live streaming, video switching, graphics, and presentation deck editing, event recordings, content creation, projection/video design, projection mapping, LED video programming and installation, video system design and integration, temporary and permanent installations, CAD drafting and design, as well as 3D concept renderings.

Scott is certified in Analog Way LiveCore, Dataton WATCHOUT, and Hippotizer V4, among other tools, and proficient in a variety of software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Vectorworks, PlaybackPro, Qlab, Isadora, and Resolume.

He pursued his education by studying Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre Arts with a minor in Business Management at Marymount Manhattan College.

Currently holding the position of Video Services Manager at Frost Productions NY, Scott has previously worked as a Projection Designer, Video Technician, Content Creation, Watchout Programmer, and LED Technician in various freelance roles, as well as a Video Technician at Blue Man Group.
