Scott Ashton

Scott Ashton is a seasoned information security management professional with over 21 years of experience in the field of information technology, governance, risk management, compliance, and operational security. With an extensive background working in heavily regulated healthcare and financial service environments, he has developed a results-oriented approach to program development, policy development and implementation, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and design and architecture.

At present, Ashton serves as the Senior Director of Information Security at an Amlaw 20 Law Firm, where he is responsible for ensuring the security of the firm's information assets. Prior to this, he served as the Director of Information Security and Information Security Officer of the same firm, as well as the Information Security Manager at Debevoise & Plimpton.

Ashton's professional journey began at Capital Health (US), where he held roles as the Network Security Administrator, LAN Systems Administrator, Desktop Support Specialist II, Desktop Support Specialist I, and, finally, Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic. His educational background includes studies in Engineering at The Chubb Institute, a degree in Bachelor of Science from Springfield College, and coursework at Regis University.

With his extensive experience, Ashton has developed a particular expertise related to information security management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and vulnerability management. He is interested in program implementation, policy development, and operational design and architecture.
