Schalk Visser is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, witnessing its transition from exclusive to pervasive in the African market.

Schalk has held key positions in renowned network service providers such as Telkom, Vodacom, and Vodacom Mozambique, starting as an engineer and progressing to executive roles.

His tenure at Cell C since 2012 has been marked by significant contributions to high-profile projects, including leading the RAN renewal project, culminating in his appointment as Chief Technology Officer in July 2020.

Driven by a passion for learning, Schalk has pursued two master's degrees in Business Administration and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with ongoing studies in Philosophy of Corporate Strategy.
