Satoshi Tateyama

Satoshi Tateyama, a seasoned expert in digitalization, has extensive experience in leading and managing application development for various industries such as trade finance, home mortgage, and financial advisory. He specializes in blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics, human sensor technologies, and big data analysis. Satoshi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of California and studied International Political Economy at California University, Berkeley. He established an independent innovation center in Singapore to expand coworking opportunities with startups in Asia and Oceania.

Throughout his career, Satoshi has held various leadership positions including Head of Innovation at Shinhan Bank Japan, Head of Innovation Center at MUFG, Team Leader of AI & Omni Channel Strategy, Trade Finance, and Global Cash Management Solution at MUFG, and Senior Manager of Cash Management Solution at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. In 2018, his IOT auto loan was selected as one of the best innovative solutions globally in the Efma and Accenture DMI awards.

Currently serving as the General Manager at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited, Satoshi Tateyama is focused on global digitalization initiatives especially in InsurTech collaboration, investment, data analysis, new business model survey, and creation.
