Satoshi Shimizu

Satoshi Shimizu is a seasoned professional in the media and digital development sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director at Dentsu Digital Global Center (DDGC) in Tokyo, Japan, since January 2024.1 He joined Dentsu Inc. in 1999, where he initially worked in the Newspaper Division for 13 years, focusing on media buying, planning, analysis, event management, and newspaper digitization.1 In 2012, he transitioned to the Global Media & Digital Office at Dentsu, where he was responsible for digital development across the Asia-Pacific region.1

In 2017, Shimizu was dispatched to dentsu X Malaysia as Vice President, where he worked until March 2023. During his tenure there, he focused on Japanese accounts and expanded agency services into content business and technology fields.1 His educational background includes a degree in Sociology from Rikkyo University, completed in 1999.1
