Sasha West

Sasha West is an accomplished individual with a rich educational background in creative writing, literature, poetry, writing, psychology, and more.

She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Houston, a Master of Arts in Poetry and Writing from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Literature from UC San Diego.

Having a strong academic foundation, Sasha West has held various prestigious positions in the field of creative writing and literature.

Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at St. Edward's University.

Previously, she has worked as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at St. Edward's University, Lecturer and Writing Center Director at The University of Texas at Austin Lyndon B Johnson School of Public Affairs, Director of Development at Badgerdog Literary Publishing, Lecturer and Parks Fellow at Rice University, Board President at Gulf Coast A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts, and Managing Editor at Gulf Coast Journal.
