As the founder and president of Sfara in the US and Germany, Sascha has focused on leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence within smartphones, particularly in Vehicle to Everything (V2X) technology and both autonomous and non-autonomous driving.

His work has resulted in the accumulation of over 30 patents worldwide, establishing Sfara as a leading force in smartphone-based safety solutions that are reshaping the transportation landscape and enhancing safety standards.

Before his tenure at Sfara, Sascha held key leadership roles at Airbus, contributing to space-based programs like Galileo, Europe's satellite navigation system, and later transitioning to Mercedes-Benz where he played a pivotal role in new in-vehicle service businesses, alternative drive trains, and AI-based Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) in Europe and the US.

Recognized as a subject matter expert in electric and hydrogen drive trains, Sascha Simon has testified before the U.S. Congress on behalf of Mercedes-Benz and has been a featured speaker at prestigious events such as CES, International Electric Vehicle Symposium, and other industry-leading conferences.

Sascha's educational background includes studies in Physics, Business Administration, and International Economics at institutions like Justus Liebig University Giessen and UCLA.

Throughout his career, Sascha has been associated with various organizations, holding positions such as General Manager, Founder, President, Chief Science Officer, Director on the Board of Directors, and Telematics expert in companies like Sfara, Mercedes-Benz, Daimler AG, and EADS.
