Sarita Brown is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Communications, as well as a Master of Arts in Communication, all from The University of Texas at Austin.
Sarita Brown has been involved in various prestigious organizations throughout her career. She is currently the President and Co-Founder of Excelencia in Education. Previously, she served as the Co-Principal Investigator at the Department of Education, Senior Fellow at the Pew Hispanic Center within the Pew Research Center, Founding President and CEO of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Institute, and Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans.

Furthermore, Sarita Brown has also been involved in recruitment initiatives, having previously held the position of Director of Graduate Minority Recruitment at The University of Texas at Austin. Her vast experience in education and minority-focused programs showcases her dedication to promoting diversity and excellence in higher education.
