Sarina Caragan

Sarina Caragan is a Bay Area native who has made it her life's mission to make the tech industry more equitable and diverse. With a degree in journalism from Santa Clara University, she has worked in various Human Resources, Talent, and Learning and Development roles at organizations such as Macy's Technology, WeWork, and Okta. During her career, she has designed and implemented inclusive hiring practices, created internal programs for diversity and inclusion, and facilitated product inclusion efforts. Sarina's focus is on providing access to tech careers for historically marginalized groups, which she does both professionally and personally. Outside of work, she engages in creative endeavors such as writing, singing, and photography. She is also reconnecting to her Filipino heritage and figuring out how to parent with a social justice lens.
