Saravanan Manoharan

Saravanan Manoharan is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in the design and engineering of Electrical HV, MV & LV systems for Steam Based Power Plants, Solar IPPs, and teaching engineering graduates.

His expertise includes 9 years of experience in basic design and detailed engineering of Power Evacuation Systems up to 220kV, MV & LV Power Distribution Systems for Steam Based Power Plants, and detailed engineering of substations.

He has hands-on experience in tendering, basic design, and engineering of Solar IPPs, and has successfully executed over 700+ MWp of PV Solar Projects across India, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and South Africa.

Saravanan's educational background includes a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with First class with Distinction from IRT Polytechnic, a Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics with First class with Distinction from Sathyabama University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with First Class from the Institute of Road and Transport Technology.

He has held prominent positions such as General Manager - Design & Engineering at Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, Manager - Engineering at Gamesa Renewables Pvt. Ltd, Associate Manager - Design & Engineering at SunEdison, and Deputy Manager at Avant-Garde Engineers & Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

Additionally, Saravanan has contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Shree Fomra Institute of Technology, Kelambakkam, and Mariana Engineering College, Chennai.
