Sarah Tekleab

Sarah Tekleab is a versatile professional excelling in different areas of expertise. She is a graduate of the George Mason school of engineering, and has spent the last four years working as a software engineer at Microsoft. Her experience prior to Microsoft includes two summers working in a research lab at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, a stint as a teaching assistant for an introductory engineering class, and internships at both NASA and Ford Motor Company. She is particularly interested in software development and has worked on various software projects throughout her career. Her standout projects include the development of a motion detection sensor and an automatic home lighting system. When she's not working, Sarah enjoys hiking, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
