Sarah Poulton

Sarah Poulton is a reformed luddite and pandemic-induced career changer currently transitioning from a background in event and product management, startups, and education to the tech industry.

With a degree in English and Creative Writing, Sarah ventured into tech by participating in LaunchCode's LC101 bootcamp, where she gained insights into Fullstack Development, focusing on front-end design with JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML, and CSS, as well as back-end database management utilizing Object-Oriented Programming principles, APIs, SQL, Java, and Thymeleaf.

Sarah is actively enhancing her front-end development skills, particularly in React, while leveraging her people-focused experience to contribute to the development of software at BreachBits, Inc., with the goal of democratizing cybersecurity awareness.

Her educational background includes stints at LaunchCode specializing in Computer Software and Media Applications, completing the React Nanodegree at Udacity, and earning a Bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing from Hendrix College.

Sarah has held various roles including Apprentice UI/UX Developer at BreachBits, Tech Leadership Fellow at LaunchCode, Substitute Teacher at ESS and Springdale School District/SubTeach USA, Director at Markham & Fitz Chocolate, Taproom Attendant at Ozark Beer Company, Editorial Intern at Oxford American Magazine, Server and Bartender/Event Staff at Conway Country Club, and Inventory Control Manager at Hastings Entertainment Inc.
