Sarah McLean is a well-educated professional with diverse academic backgrounds including a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, Business Administration Diploma in Sport Management and Operations Management from Durham College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University.

Sarah McLean has a rich work experience history having held various roles in customer service, event management, and sales. Some of her previous positions include After Sales Service Specialist, Customer Service Representative, and Customer Service Receptionist at Leon's Furniture, Ticket Operations Coordinator at Belleville Senators Hockey Club, and Guest Services Representative at Shorelines Casino Belleville.
