Sarah Martell
Scientia Associate Professor at UNSW
Sarah Martell is a Co-Project Scientist for the GALAH Survey, an observational astronomer with expertise in Galactic archaeology, chemical tagging, stellar spectroscopy, and large surveys. She specializes in spectroscopy, chemical abundances, and data mining.
Sarah Martell pursued her education by obtaining a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from UC Santa Cruz, a BS in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Washington, and studied Physics at Justus-Liebig-Universit\u00e4t Giessen.
Currently, Sarah Martell serves as an Associate Professor at UNSW. Previously, she held roles as a Senior Lecturer, Lecturer/ARC DECRA Fellow, and AAO Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Astronomisches Rechen-Institut.
