Sarah Macnaughton

Sarah Macnaughton is a highly skilled Senior Manager with extensive experience in innovation management and the exploitation of intellectual property across various market sectors in the UK and worldwide. Her background in environmental biotechnology and microbiology has uniquely positioned her to specialize in transferring research into sustainable innovation in the agri-food sector, manufacturing, and related industries. With a PhD in Microbial Ecology from Newcastle University, she has held research positions across the US and the UK, including at the University of Tennessee and Microbial Insights Inc. Sarah is currently the Principal Consultant at Oxentia, where she assists clients in the commercialization of their intellectual property, working closely with the public sector research base, and Programme Management for Government.
