Sarah M.

Sarah M. is a dedicated professional with a background in digital scholarship, education, and open access initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Digital Scholarship at Boston College Libraries, she leads a team focused on exploring new tools and supporting teaching and research in various areas utilizing broad methodologies. Her expertise spans scholarly communications, data services, and digital scholarship, integrating support for collections, digital scholarship, and data into liaison work. Sarah is actively involved in promoting open access to information and civic data literacy through initiatives like Mozilla's Open Leaders program, Endangered Data Week, and the Programming Historian. With a Ph.D. in Public History/American Studies from Emory University, an M.A. in American Studies from The University of Alabama, and a B.A. in Classical Civilization from Emory University, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her diverse roles.
