Sarah Kummerfeld

Sarah Kummerfeld is a highly accomplished professional with a background in Computational Biology and Computer Science.

She holds a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. (Adv) (hons) in Computer Science and Biochemistry from the University of Sydney.

Sarah Kummerfeld currently serves as an Associate Professor at St Vincent's Clinical School within the University of New South Wales.

Previously, she held the position of Head at the Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics - Scientific at the renowned Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Sarah also has experience as the former Head of Translational Genomics at the Kinghorn Center for Clinical Genomics at the Garvan Institute.

Her professional journey includes roles at prestigious institutions such as Genentech, where she worked as a Scientist, and Stanford University, where she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
