Sarah Dillard

Sarah Dillard is an accomplished educator and the founder of The Rock Creek School, as well as Kaleidoscope Education. She has dedicated over a decade to improving high school education, focusing on creating engaging and practical learning experiences for students.

Education and Career

Dillard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University and has advanced degrees from Harvard University, including a Master in Public Policy from the Kennedy School and an MBA from Harvard Business School. During her time at Harvard, she was recognized with several fellowships, including the Reynolds Fellowship for social entrepreneurship and the George Fellowship for leadership across public and private sectors.12

Before founding her own educational initiatives, Dillard worked at Bain & Company and held significant roles in various educational organizations, including the U.S. Department of Education and the National Math and Science Initiative. Her work emphasizes the importance of equipping teachers with the necessary curriculum and professional development to inspire students.23

In addition to her roles at The Rock Creek School and Kaleidoscope, Dillard serves as a trustee at Capital City Public Charter School and is an emeritus member of the alumni advisory council at Harvard's Center for Public Leadership.2
