Engineering Manager

- Helped grow the engineering org from 8 to 20
- Drove the creation and rollout of many engineering processes, including: recruiting with external recruiters, 360 performance reviews (+ performance criteria), technical investigations/design docs, feature documentation/rollout, and oncall escalation.
- Hired, onboarded, mentored, and promoted reports. All with a focus on empathetic listening and candid actionable feedback.
- Managed a fullstack Product Engineering team focused activity feeds and ticketing (although they worked on a ton of other things, like AWS Secrets Manager migration and Auth0 login).
- Managed SREs who focused on observability and security in preparation for SOC II
- Managed the Integration Engineering team who worked closely with Product and Sales Engineers to deliver high quality integrations to customers. The team also automated integration testing and release for internal, global, or per-customer use.
- Steadied the team through major reorgs and company pivots

Transposit

- Moved the execution engine off of Nashorn and onto GraalVM (Java)
- Added ability for users to grant access to the support team to help debug any issue they are having with the platform
- Implemented key storing and safe sharing mechanism for developer credentials
- Created initial technical research and design for the incident management SPA app, including use of GraphQL, Tailwind, Webpack, React, and Typescript.
- Initial designer/implementer of actions that trigger automation for specified incoming webhooks

Built client-side and server-side gameplay features for a realtime multiplayer PVE tablet game, including:
- Inventory revamp with drag and drop, particle effects
- Player leaderboards, chat, lobby/matching system

Game Engineer

- Worked across teams with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and other engineering teams to design REST APIs for use by customers as well as 3rd party clients. Implemented in Scala.
- Service owner for the Ads API service, and worked with the SRE team to operationalize the service during Twitter's transition to multiple datacenters.

Twitter

Staff Software Engineer

- Tech lead for a large migration to move from strictly client-side FE components to components that were rendered almost entirely server-side. (mustache, JavaScript, HTML, Sass)
- Worked with the ads team to on a large database migration to introduce more flexibility into the data modal. (Ruby on Rails)

Senior Software Engineer

- Member of the webclient team that rebuilt twitter.com as a SPA
- Member of the Photos team that added photo uploaders and gallery viewers to twitter.com

Software Engineer II

- Member of the multimedia apps team, which worked closely with the hardware team and the design team.
- Major contributor to the video play and music player, responsible for adding features such as music playlists and video editing, using webkit and web technologies (JS/HTML/CSS) on the webOS platform. 
- Minor contributor to the photos app and other multimedia apps.
