Sarah Blanke
Director of Communications and Events at PAVE (Parents Amplifying Voices in Education)
Sarah Blanke is currently the Associate Director of Communications at Data Quality Campaign (DQC).12 Previously, she served as the Director of Communications at Parents Amplifying Voices in Education (PAVE).1 In her role at PAVE, she developed and implemented communications strategies to center DC's local education policy conversation on the voices and advocacy priorities of a diverse parent coalition.1
Sarah's work at PAVE focused on various educational priorities, including:
- School-based behavioral health supports
- Out-of-school time (OST) programs
- School budget transparency
- Specialized school programs
- School funding
- COVID-19 recovery1
Before joining PAVE, Sarah coordinated marketing and operations for camps and enrichment programs at a DC area high school.1
Sarah received her bachelor's degree in history from the College of William and Mary.12 Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring Washington D.C.'s green spaces, attending concerts, and spending time with her friends' dogs.1
At Data Quality Campaign, Sarah works to shape and carry out DQC's advocacy work through evidence-based communications strategies that aim to increase the organization's impact on the education field.1
