    Sara Morris is a seasoned organizational leader with 25 years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.

    From 2010 to 2016, she held the position of President and CEO at the Alliance for Education in Seattle, a prominent local education fund.

    During her tenure, she managed a 15-member staff and a $5 million annual budget, working closely with a 30-member Board of Directors.

    Sara played a pivotal role in spearheading initiatives to enhance urban public education, collaborating with Seattle's business and philanthropic community to support impactful strategies benefiting over 53,000 students in the public school system.

    One of her key accomplishments was co-founding the Seattle Teacher Residency program, recognized nationally for its innovative approach to teacher recruitment and preparation for high poverty student environments.

    With a background that includes a role as a communications aide in the White House during the Clinton Administration, Sara's professional journey has seen her in leadership positions at Amazon.com, OVP Venture Partners, and TechNet Northwest, among others.

    She holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, earning recognition as one of Seattle's '40 Under 40' by the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2003.

    In her spare time, Sara finds joy in outdoor activities like hiking, running, and cross country skiing, as well as traveling, photography, and sharing her life in Ballard with her husband and three daughters.
