Sara Mary Cronin is an accomplished humanitarian professional with a diverse background in international development, emergency management, and human resources. Cronin holds a master's degree in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Master of Arts with Honors in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews.
Cronin has worked in various roles at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the British Red Cross, UN Migration, and NATO, where she gained extensive experience in emergency and post-crisis management, conflict mapping, media relations, and membership coordination. She also has experience in the culinary arts and hotel administration, having studied at Bergen County Academies.
Currently, Cronin serves as a Program Officer at Internews, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting independent media worldwide. In her previous roles, she worked on projects related to Syria's conflict mapping, international HR administration, and the UK and Ireland COVID response.
