Sara Hormigo

Sara Hormigo is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in Development Economics and Engineering.

She has pursued postgraduate studies in Development Economics at ENGREF and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as well as a Master of Engineering in Ingeniería de Montes from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Her educational endeavors also include postgraduate studies at Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and expertise in her field.

Sara Hormigo has held key positions in various organizations, demonstrating her leadership skills and expertise in international project coordination.

She currently serves as the Head of the Multilateral Department at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, DC, where she plays a vital role in promoting economic and commercial relations between Spain and the United States.

Prior to this role, Sara Hormigo has worked as the Head of the Multilateral Department at LV Salamanca Ingenieros, as well as in international project coordination positions at ACCIONA INGENIERIA and Tragsatec.

Her experience in both the public and private sectors equips her with a comprehensive understanding of economic development, engineering projects, and international relations.
