Sara Froelich is the Executive Director of the Chronic Care Collaborative, a coalition of about 40 voluntary health organizations that advocates for Coloradans living with chronic conditions and their caregivers.1 She has approximately 20 years of experience in government and politics.1
Prior to her current role, Froelich worked as a Senior Account Executive for a public affairs firm specializing in federal government relations and state-level health policy advocacy.1 She also served as Deputy Downstate Director for U.S. Senator Dick Durbin for ten years, focusing on community outreach, local economic development, and health care among other areas.1
Froelich is known as a seasoned government relations professional with expertise in health care, alliance development, and political strategy.2 She has experience managing and advising campaigns for various political positions, including U.S. Senate, Governor, Congress, and Mayor.1
In her volunteer work, Froelich coaches young soccer players, serves on the boards of several Colorado nonprofits, and is a founding member of the Council for IWU Women, which mentors college-age young women.1
