Sara Davis

Sara Davis is the founder of Synergy Farms, Inc. (SFI), which focuses on enhancing local food production through aquaponic technology.

A Nashville native and Fisk University graduate, Sara launched SFI in 2013, drawing from her experience in the Peace Corps in Paraguay and Belize and work in rural economic development.

She has a background in small business banking and retirement planning from her time at First Tennessee Bank, as well as experience as a Property and Casualty Sales Manager at State Farm.

In 2019, Sara pioneered an off-the-grid aquaponic farm in Windhoek, Namibia, showcasing a scalable model for sustainable agriculture.

Sara underwent intensive training in commercial aquaponic farming at Growing Power Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, under the mentorship of Will Allen, a renowned figure in sustainable agriculture.

Currently, Sara holds the position of Director at both Synergy Farms, Inc. and Synergy Farms Namibia in Windhoek, Namibia.
